Passive Voice Present Simple:


Im Folgenden erhältst du einen kurzen Überblick über die Bildung des Present Simple in der Passive Voice. 

Passive Voice Present Simple 

Bildung:


Im Present Simple wird das Passive gebildet mit:

am/is/are + Past Participle

z.B. The car is sold (sell). 

 

Das Past Participle (Partizip Perfekt) wird gebildet:
a) bei regelmäßigen Verben durch Anhängen von -ed
b) bei unregelmäßigen Verben durch die 3. Form der irregular verbs
 

Umstellung der Satzglieder:


Weiters werden die Satzglieder umgestellt:

Das Objekt wird zum Subjekt.

Das Subjekt wird zum by-Objekt.

Pronoun Object wird zum Pronoun Subject.

Zeitergänzungen werden am Anfang oder am Ende des Satzes gestellt.

 

Active:   

Sue |  buys | a car. 

Subjekt | Prädikat | Objekt 

 

Passive Voice:

A car | is  bought | by Sue.

Subjekt | Prädikat  | Objekt    

 

Bildung Personalformen:


Bilde alle Passivformen von “invite”:

1.P.EZ.: I am invited

2.P.EZ.: you are invited

3.P.EZ.m.: he is invited

3.P.EZ.w.: she is invited

3.P.EZ.s.: it is invited

1.P.MZ.: we are invited 

2.P.MZ.: you are invited

3.P.MZ.: they are invited

 

Beispielsätze:


a) Singular:

Active: He tells a story.

Passive: A story is told by him.

Passive Question: Is a story told by him?

Passive Negation: A story isn’t told by him.

 

b) Plural:

Active: They build two cottages.

Passive: Two cottages are built by them.

Passive Question: Are two cottages built by them?

Passive Negation: Two cottages aren’t built by them.

 

Modals Verbs:


Active: You must do your work.

Passive: Your work must be done.

Active: We can’t find the book.

Passive: The book can’t be found.

Active: I may sell my old car.

Passive: My old car may be sold by her.

 

Sätze mit zwei Objekten = 2 Lösungen:


Verben, die zwei Objekte erlauben/verbs that may take two objects:

bring, give, offer, show, tell, write, allow, ask…

Vor der Personalform wird bei Bildung des Passivs durch das andere Objekt ein “to” gesetzt

 

Beispiele:

Active: She gives me a present. 

Passive I: I am given a present by her.

Passive II: A present is given to me by her.

 

Active: She writes him a letter. 

Passive I: He is written a letter by her.

Passive II: A letter is written to him by her.
