Vorgangsweise:
Das Produkt eines Monoms mit einem Polynom berechnet man nach dem Distributivgesetz (Verteilungsgesetz).
Getrennte Berechnung der Gliedbestandteile:
Vorzeichen * Vorzeichen
Zahl * Zahl
Variable * Variable
z.B. + 5x * – 2y = – 5*2xy d.f. – 10xy
Es gelten die Klammerregeln:
gleiche Vorzeichen ergeben plus:
(+ ) * (+) = + (-) * (-) = +
ungleiche Vorzeichen ergeben minus:
(+) * (-) = – (-) * (+) = –
Beispiele:
Monom * Polynom:
3x * (7y – 3z + 5) =
3x * 7y + 3x * (- 3z) + 3x * 5 =
21xy – 9xz + 15x
Polynom * Monom:
(3b + 2c – 4d) * 4a =
3b * 4a + 2c * 4a – 4d * 4a =
12ab + 8ac – 16ad
