was/were + Past Participle
 
2. Bildung der Personalformen im Past Simple:
Bilde alle Passivformen von "catch":

3.P.EZ.m.: he was caught
3.P.EZ.w.: she was caught
3.P.EZ.s.: it was caught

3. Beispielsätze:
a) Singular:
Aktive: He told a story.
Passive: A story was told by him.
Passive Question: Was a story told by him?
Negation: A story was not told by him.
 
b) Plural:
Aktive: They built two cottages
Passive: Two cottages were built by them.
Passive Question: Were two cottages built by them?
Negation: Two cottages were not built by them.
 
4. Sätze mit zwei Objekten = 2 Lösungen:
Aktive: She gave me a present
Passive I: I was given a present by her.
Passive II: A present was given to me by her.
 
Aktive: She wrote him a letter. 
Passive I: He was written a letter by her.
Passive II: A letter was written to him by her.
 
Verben, die zwei Objekte erlauben/verbs that may take two objects:
bring, give, offer, show, tell, write, allow, ask...
